Process for German-speaking applicants

Phase 1: Applications for German-speaking applicants open, for example in March

Phase 2: All accepted applicants will be contacted and invited to a 30-minute introductory meeting

Phase 3: Invitation to join the team, for example in April

It is important to us that everyone feels comfortable in the team. German-speaking members do not have to speak English and can also learn or improve it with us.

We also have several members who were not confident speaking English at first or could not speak it at all. By now, they are able to have small conversations in English. However, you are by no means required to speak English!

Application process for international applicants

Phase 1: International applications (non-German-speaking) open, for example in February

Phase 2: All accepted applicants will be contacted and can join the team for a one-month trial period (March) to get to know the team (a German Lifetime account is not required yet!)

Phase 3: Final invitation to join the team, for example in April

What will be offered during the introduction period:

Basic German course
An introductory meeting in English
Insights into our competition training
Getting to know the members

With this new international application process, you can find out whether our team suits you and whether you can imagine being part of a partially German-speaking team.

Don’t worry! Important information will be translated into English for you, and during competitions we will also explain your part in English.

You do not need to have any German knowledge, but you should be open to learning a few terms.

Requirements

For German-speaking applicants

Have Star Rider (preferably Lifetime)
Be able to regularly attend meetings on all three days: Monday, Wednesday, Thursday
Interest in competitions
At least level 20
At least 15 years old
Have a PC/laptop you can play on
Be on our Open Discord Server (important after you have been accepted; we will only contact you if you are on the OS!)

For international applicants
